No bicycle riding after dark.

Parking

Registered guests must park on their assigned site. We allow only one vehicle to a site. In an emergency requiring police, fire, or ambulance services, multiple vehicles on a site hinder services that may be needed. Therefore, additional vehicles must be left in the Visitor’s parking lot only.

Septic

There is a free dump station located in the visitor parking lot.  Honey wagon service is available for $15 on Mondays and/or Thursdays. Campers must sign up for the service in the store / office prior to 11:00 on the scheduled day.

Firewood / Trees

Maine State law prohibits transporting firewood from out of state. Firewood is sold in the store. No cutting of trees/firewood is allowed in the campground or adjoining properties. All firewood brought into the park must be removed prior to checkout. Please do not drive nails into or disfigure trees. Additionally, please do not tie clotheslines to trees or shrubs. For further information, go to www.maine.gov/firewood.

Sink (Grey) Water

The discharge of grey water into the environment has been found to be a significant risk to public health. Grey water can have a population of bacteria approaching or exceeding the populations of black water. Health Department regulations do not permit draining sink water on the ground or into open containers. If your site has septic service, connect your wastewater outlets to the sewer pipe, and ensure that the connections are tight and do not leak. Please contact the office if you are unsure how to perform this connection. Grey water is sometimes discharged into portable blue tanks. The contents of the blue tank must be discharged into the dump station.

Dump Station / Portable Sani-Station

The dumping station is located in the visitor parking area and is free to all registered campers. We also have a “honey wagon” service available on Mondays and Thursdays only (weather permitting). Service must be paid for and requested 24 hours in advance.

Swimming Pool / Pond Warning!

Toddlers in diapers must wear swim pants (available in the camp store for a nominal fee) in the pool and pond. The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

No motor-operated boats (gas or electric) are allowed in the pond. All boats brought into the park must be inspected for invasive weeds. We rent rowboats, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, and tubes for your convenience and pleasure. An adult must accompany children under 12.
